Photoshop Pictures

Every so often a stumbler will come across a arsenal of photoshoped pictures of the same original picture. The photoshoped versions can include the main character doing almost anything imaginable; usually its a baby or a child but can be made with adults. A very funny example of this is what some artists did with Peter Crouch, a liverpool football player:

What i find that is very funny about this type of comedy is the fact that the main character is in a possition so wierd that its almost as if he asked to be photoshoped and put in rediculous situations. Of course in this case and in most other cases the original picture is just captured in a very unfortunate moment. I belive that this type of comedy is very funny for the viewer since it 100% visual and can be appreciated with quickness. Some more examples of Mr.Crouch are bellow:

Photo Comics

A sort of revolutionary internet comic type that is very popular these days is the photo comic. This is a type of comic that consists of a series of pictures usually of a person and a blackboard. The blackboard has funny lines or some drawings in it and the person is usually doing a expression or pointing somewhere in the picture. The most famous one that stumple upon knows and frequently comes up is a photoblog called surviving the world. This is a blog that a student in college has started and keeps in order to get more for college.

What i like about this type of comic; specifically about this surviving the world comic is that it tends to teach interesting life lessons in a funny way. I also like it because it is usually symple and does not require much reading. Which constrasts to some normal comic stips that have tons of lines and are not even funny by the time you finish reading. Here are some more examples:

Chatroullete

Chatroullete is a site which is links two random strangers with webcams together and allows them to talk. Naturally, an encounter with a stranger can be very funny, as well as very devastating. Stumble upon filters the funny pictures of chatroullete and shows them when stumbling across the internet. I find that the pictures show that there is someone just like you in this world and that no one is alone. Here are some examples:

I believe my interest in chatroulette pictures is more for the curiosity than just for the laughing. Its strage to see how people can be when they are not identified. Which includes naked in some cases. Many of the interesting cases include really similar people who meet, makes me worried to think i might have another secret brother. Anyways, here are some final examples to finish the post, enjoy.

Failblog

Failblog is a website which allows anyone to post pictures or videos of life fail or even wins. The site is most popular for pictures and in this blogpost that is all I am going to show. Failblog is very popular in stumbleupon because this website holds over 400 pages of funny pictures and videos. I find that it is very funny because the pictures are fast to load and so one can scan through a whole page of failblog quickly. This minimizes the time spent loading a page and hence provides a quick escape from boring internal assesments. Plus, it is proven scientifically that when you see the disgrace of others you get a bit happier about your own life. here are some examples:

Failblog, as I mentioned before also hold a different type of picture, the win. A win picture is almost like the opposite of a fail and is still funny. Wins are rare in the site since its hard to post a good one but they are my favourites. Here are some examples:

My Life is Average

MLIA is a very popular website that originated from FML. FML was originally built for people to share there worse moments and for others to feel good while reading about the misery of others. From that website MLIA and MLIG have originated. My life is good is a website where you write the good things of your life. Its not that popular. MLIA is where you write the average things of your life, it may not sound that interesting but its actually very nice for you to have a laugh. MLIA is also related to stumble upon because if a particular quote is tagged for stumble upon, any random stumbler may com across it, and it happens often enough. Here are some examples:

A fortnight ago I finally solved my rubiks cube. I waited two weeks to post this so that I could use the word fortnight. MLIA

Last night, I was really hot in bed, so I took one leg out of the covers. Then I got scared because it was too dark and my leg felt unprotected from somthing hiding under my bed. So I put it back under the blankets. MLIA

Today, I wore Axe body spray. I wasn't tackled by any women. MLIA.

Today I installed a program and it asked if I had read and agreed to the terms and conditions. I hadn't, but I clicked 'yes' anyway. The program didn't know I lied, and began to install. MLIA.

Today, I realized that I am unemployed, live with my mother, play video games all day in my basement, and I am still a virgin. It's alright, I finish 9th grade next week. MLIA

As you can see, all of these examples just talk about random things that happened during the day. All of them end with MLIA just for recognition of the website. I find that MLIA is particularly funny when contrasted with other websites. To finish of the examples bellow lays some more:

Today, I realized that many MLIA stories are about Harry Potter, and none are about Twilight. I'm glad the average person has good taste. MLIA

Today, I decided to tan on the balcony. I took my top off and my neighbor came out and saw me. He's a guy. So am I. We greeted each other. MyLifeIsAverage.

Today at school I leaned back in my chair and it made a farting noise. I casually did it again so everybody would know it was the chair. MLIA

And best of the year:

Today I won a million dollars, but I closed out of the pop-up anyway. MLIA

Lamebook

Lamebook is a website that shows funny or imbarasing facebook status, treads, quizes, or whatever else that is on facebook.. There are millions of posts and anyone can put their own facebook picture there. All posts get rated and can even make it to top of week/month/year. Most of them are very funny because they have to be pre-voted on to be displayed. All these post always have anonymus names and most of them are respectfull, though there is no racism or actuall offensive language. Here are some examples of lamebook, a popular website that appears in stumble upon:

I found that lamebook was an nice website to post funny things your friends said or posted in facebook. Even though it is not home of deep and insightfull ideas it can still make you smile when you realise that there are poeple in far worse situations than you. Also good when you dont want to work in your Math IA anymore.

Invisible Cats

Everyone knows the lolcats. They are supposed to be cute and make you smile. Usually they consist of a cat with a cute face and a line written with wrong grammer. From this thread from the internet a better one originated.
Invisible Cats is a internet picture thread of cats doing many different activities. Variants may include other animals but the same idea is present. This typically consists of strange possitions that will make it look like they are doing something else. An example would be a cat jumping and a line which says "invisible pogo stick". But there are a bunch of them.
I thought that invisible cats are very funny, they not only show the cat in a weird moment but they really make you realise that that is how you look when you do the same activities.
Bellow are some examples of invisible cats:

These were some examples just for you to understand what invisible cats are. They are very popular and show up often in stumble upon. I find them particularly funny because I picture myself doing the same thing, and often enough I would look just like them.
